Lunula Necklace
The crescent is an enduring symbol of eternal passage, rebirth, and renewal. Evoking the waxing and waning of the moon, the crescent was associated with the lunar deities throughout antiquity. This pendant is based on the lunula ("little moon" in Latin), an amulet worn by Roman women and girls as protection against the evil eye, illness, and misfortune. This pendant is handcrafted and cast in solid 22k gold with an 18-inch 18k chain. Pendant measures 5/8” wide and 1/2" tall including bail. Chain length can be customized upon request.
